The Truth About SG-14® Glass Lining

Vitco SG-14® glass lined pipe and fittings have been successfully servicing the wastewater and sewage treatment industry since the late 1960's and have set the standard for the product world-wide. Many specifications for glass lined pipe and fittings now require a minimum of 5 years experience of successful application of similar high temperature lining products, and it is more important than ever to make sure you're getting genuine, proven, Vitco SG-14® glass lined pipe and fittings.

To make sure that you're getting genuine SG-14®, first, look for submittal information specifically designating "VITCO SG-14® Glass Lined Pipe and Fittings". Second, all Vitco SG-14® product will be identified with our inspection sticker, and will also have the letters "FV" , which is glass material as well, permanently stenciled and fired into the surface of the glass lining as shown in the photo below. Make sure you're getting the true, original Vitco SG-14® product!
